Perhaps the most quoted and memorized scripture in the entire Bible, the 23rd Psalm strikes a chord in my spiritual being. It has sustained me in loss and supports me in life. It is life's assured hope to hold onto & follow!1. My Shepherd , No Want a. Sheep are defenseless, senseless, naive & nervous
b. They need a leader for their outcome is in his hands
c. They need a herd (Prov. 27:23)
d. Contentment in his provision (1Tim. 6:6)
2. Lie Down in Green Pastures, Leads Me Beside Still Waters, Restored Soul a. Rest in the midst of provision (Mt. 11:28-30)
b. Safe & Secure
c. Calm in midst of chaos
d. Rejuvenated Inner Being
3. Path of Righteousness a. God has a path for you (Pr. 3:5-7; Ps. 119:105) i. MAXIMUM benefit, impact, success
b. Namesake i. What do you do with/for the name of Jesus?
ii. His reputation is at stake through Christians. Stained or Sustained?
4. Valley of Shadow of Death, No Fear, Rod & Staff a. "I" walk without His lead, yet He's still with me (Isa 53:6)
